Damon Davis talks about what it feels when you have "Courage" and the word "Scared" relate. Damon Davis says "the feeling of being scared spreads like a wild forest fire, but at the same time your facial expression shows when you didn't do something wrong and this is called "Courage". Damon Davis states "this boy Mike was an African American who was shot down by the police. when Damon Davis stated this line he seemed to grab the listeners attention, you could see the reactions on the audience faces, they seemed into the talk. Then there was a protest and Damon Davis joined it and the people were brave and protesting strong but not for long, after a while the police arrived and all the people started panicking on who was going to be shot next, Damon Davis says he saw two kinds of people one half of the people were scared and the other half knew they were doing the right thing and he tells this is courage. This is the point he learned and he started a project posting the hands of the protesters on all the street walls. This is the American dream of treating everyone equally. i think this connects to the poem we read where this man is getting deported from the place he lives is going to be sent back to his home land. They both share the same American dream is to be treated equally.
